Tesla Model S Plaid is the fastest police patrol car in the world

The Tesla Model S Plaid is now the world’s fastest police patrol car, promising to meet the high-performance demands of first responders.

One tuner Tesla unveiled several new police vehicles based on models from the North American company, including what is now the fastest police patrol car in the world.
Through its UP.FIT department, Unplugged Performance (UP) presented its police patrol car, the Tesla Model S Plaidand SAY.

Built on the Tesla Model S Plaid platform, the UP.FIT Plaid Pursuit features a series of modifications and advanced technologies designed to improve high-speed pursuits and traffic patrol operations.
The vehicle will be delivered to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's motorsports community outreach program, highlighting a fundamental shift toward electric vehicles in public service roles.

A supercar based on the Tesla Model S Plaid
The UP.FIT Plaid Pursuit model incorporates a proprietary electrical system, designed specifically for Tesla's UP.FIT vehicles, allowing for the integration of custom forward- and rear-facing warning lights into the front and rear windows.

Additionally, side skirt lighting and a bumper equipped with more warning lights and integrated high- and low-frequency emergency sirens ensure this vehicle is in full compliance with California's Title 13 regulations.
As standard, the Model S Plaid has 1033 horsepower and a range of 628 km in the American cycle. With acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds, this renewed Model S Plaid is the fastest police car in the world.
Alongside the exterior modifications, the UP.FIT Plaid Pursuit includes UP performance upgrades, including improved braking components and lightweight UP Forged wheels.
These improvements not only increase durability, but also provide superior handling in pursuit scenarios.
