Tesla Model Y: considerably more expensive from now on with seven people on the road

Although the Tesla Model Y was available as a seven-seater much earlier in the United States, among others, it only became possible in the Netherlands in October last year to get the Model Y with an extra row of seats. Anyone who paid an extra €2,500 got two small extra seats at the very back of the Model Y. From now on you pay more for that optional third row of seats. The price of the option increases by €1,500 to no less than €4,000. We are dealing with a price increase of up to 75 percent. As before, the optional third row of seats is far from available and every Model Y. In fact, there is only one variant of the Tesla Model Y that is optionally available as a seven-seater. The option can only be ordered for the Tesla Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive. It costs €52,990 as a base and costs €56,990 with an extra row of seats. The option is ignored for the Tesla Model Y RWD, Long Range RWD and Performance All-Wheel Drive. The extra row of seats obviously takes a bite out of the luggage space. Behind the extra seats there is 363 liters available. If you fold the row of seats flat, you can carry 753 liters. In a Model Y with the standard two rows of seats, you can already carry 854 liters with you. Tesla is reportedly using the upcoming Model Y facelift to also introduce a six-seater variant of the Tesla Model Y.
