Tesla Model Y facelift – What has changed?
Tesla unveiled the Model Y update last week. From now on, the best-selling electric car worldwide has a new face, inspired by the Cybertruck, but also by the new Tesla robotaxi Cybercab.
The Model Y facelift will be easily identified by the LED strip at the front, a design element very similar to that found on the Cybertruck and Cybercab, while the front bumper has a design similar to that used on the Model 3 Highland.
The new Tesla Model Y will be available, at least initially, in two versions. A base variant with rear-wheel drive and the Long Range version with all-wheel drive.
Tesla has not announced the capacity of the batteries until now, but it has communicated the autonomy figures in the WLTP regime. The base variant will be able to travel 466 km between charges, while the Model Y Long Range AWD has an estimated range of 551 km. The charging speed remains unchanged (250 kW).
