TGRI Wins All Podiums MLDSPOT Autokhana National Slalom Championship 2024 Series 2

DAPURPACUID – Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia (TGRI) racers continue to show their skills on various tracks, one of which is at the 2024 MLDSPOT Autokhana National Slalom Championship.

Armed with experience in the previous series, in the second round, the TGRI racers managed to win all the championship titles from all the classes they participated in.

This cannot be separated from the ability of each racer who is claimed to have adapted to the first series of the event some time previously.

The result was the first podium in the F National Championship (Modification), Team F Championship and Team A National Championship, along with a double podium in the A National Championship, second podium in the Tandem National Championship, and second podium in the Women’s Championship.

“Congratulations to the TGRI team who were able to maintain the competitiveness of the All-New Agya GR Sport so that they got podiums in all classes participated in this second series,” said Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor, Anton Jimmi Suwandy.

Anton admitted that the adaptation carried out by the racers was quite effective in uniting their characters with the racing cars, so that the championship title could be achieved, especially in the most prestigious F class.

“Hopefully this achievement can continue to the next series on the way to becoming the overall champion of the 2024 National Slalom Championship,” Anton hoped, in his official broadcast, Monday (15/7).

As is known, in the first series last month, TGRI won the first podium in the F National Championship and the F Team Championship, the third podium in the A Team National Championship, the third podium in the Tandem National Championship, and the first podium in the Women’s Championship.

In this second series, Adrianza Yunial managed to reach the first podium in Class F (Modification) with the fastest time of 00:46.898 in the final round, Saturday (13/7).

Although Anjasara Wahyu and Herdiko Setyaputra’s time was less than optimal, they were able to take first place in the Team F Championship with a total time of 04:57.004.

The performance of the New Agya GR Sport was also tested, competing fiercely with the standard Class A3 1,200 cc car in the A National Championship, even though the average competitor used a Class A1 1,500 cc car.

In that class, Anjasara was able to escape the pressure that placed him on the second podium of the National Championship A with a time of 00:52.062.

Meanwhile, Adrianza was closely following in third place with a time of 00:52.144. Although Herdiko did not make it into the top 5, this positive result placed the three TGRI slalomers on the first podium of the Team A National Championship with a total time of 05:09.801.

Anjasara and Adrianza were able to show the best teamwork to win the Tandem National Championship on the second podium with a total time of 01:40.818.

Alinka Hardianti’s attraction, which is always awaited by the audience, gave her the spirit to also win second place in the Women’s Class with the All-New Agya GR Sport with a time of 00:54.468.

After receiving the trophy, Adrianza said that in the second series, the team was able to compete more optimally and synergize with the All-New Agya GR Sport.

“This is thanks to the touch of TGRI engineers who were able to maintain the competitiveness of our flagship compact hot hatchback throughout the race,” he said.

“Hopefully this positive result will be an encouragement to remain consistent in the top position, to increase the opportunity to retain the national slalom championship title this year,” he concluded. (dpid/TH)
