Thanks to Vuchlady, even a girl with minimal experience in this field can become a model

Vuch, a Czech fashion brand with more than eight years of history, is starting the 6th year of its Vuchlady project. The project, which supports natural beauty, healthy self-confidence, self-acceptance and a positive approach to life, aims not only to find a new brand ambassador, but also to help those who need it most.

The Vuchlady project was created in 2019 with the aim of supporting women in their journey to healthy self-confidence and self-acceptance. Every year, Vuch chooses one woman to become the brand’s face, model and muse for the whole year and receive a cash prize including a supply of Vuch products.

“This project has a significant charitable impact, where we will support the selected charitable organization both financially and through the media. Since the project was founded, almost 800 women have signed up and more than 59,500 CZK have been collected, which have been donated to where it is needed. The Vuchlady project supports natural female beauty and healthy self-confidence, but also some topic that is currently resonating with society.” he says Martin Kůs, co-founder and CEO of Vuch.

This year’s motto “The Power of Empathy, The Power of Women” it’s not random. Vuch teamed up with a non-profit organization Fuck Cancer, which supports young oncology patients and spreads awareness about the issue of oncological diseases. For each registered woman or girl, Vuch donates CZK 100 to this organization, thereby supporting the importance of empathy towards cancer patients. And another 100 CZK for sharing via social networks. Specifically, by publicly sharing the competition photo on Facebook under #vuchlady or on Instagram by tagging #vuchlady and tagging the @Vuchlady profile on the photo.

“Empathy is a key element this year, as people with cancer need more understanding and support from others than ever before. This year’s ambassador is star TV presenter Lucie Borhyová. Lucka Borhyová is a positive and inspiring personality who will light up many television broadcasts with her iconic smile. Her charm, flamboyant elegance, sincerity and professionalism reflect the values ​​of the brand, as well as the Vuchlady project,” adds Martin Kůs.

Registration for the project has just been launched and is open until August 31, 2024 on the vuchlady.cz website. Interested applicants fill out a short medallion with reasons why they should become Vuchlady and attach their photo. Vuch will select 40 semi-finalists from the applicants, who will then send video medallions with their closer performance. The expert jury will then select 10 finalists, from whom the public will choose the winner by voting between September 13 and October 6, 2024.

The entire project will culminate in a festive event in Prague on October 10, 2024, where the winner of Vuchlady will be revealed. She will receive CZK 40,000 and a supply of products for the whole year. New this year are awards for 2nd and 3rd place, which will receive financial prizes and Vuch brand products. 2nd place will receive a financial prize of CZK 6,000 and products worth CZK 6,000, 3rd place will receive a financial prize of CZK 4,000 and products worth CZK 4,000.

Every registered woman or girl gets the opportunity to participate in an exclusive event with the participation of the Vuch team, TV crews, journalists and celebrities. This event is an opportunity to celebrate female power and empathy, which is key for this year.
