That’s why you can’t buy Mauri’s chips anywhere

It is a time of change for Mauri Hermundsson29 – known from the hit channel “Uppdrag Mat” on Youtube.

Since the start in 2018, the channel has been under Aftonbladet’s flag, but in June earlier this year, Mustiga Mauri broke the news that he had resigned.

“I AM A FREE MAN! I have started my own production company where we now own Uppdrag Mat, my new YouTube channel and in the future also produce larger TV4 productions”can be read in the post.

During the autumn, Mauri Hermundsson has also stepped into a new industry and released his own chip brand – something News24 noticed already at the beginning of the year.

The chips are released in four different flavors: Chili Cheese, Dill and Wasabi, Sourcream and Onion and Green and Garlic. They are manufactured in a factory in Södertälje, just a stone’s throw from where Mauri grew up.

The personal favorite flavor is Chili Cheese, he has said in an interview with News24:

– I was so damn happy when I got to taste it for the first time, because we had sort of succeeded. What I was so happy about was that it tasted like chili cheese solid in chip form. It felt surreal!

The launch has been a smash hit throughout the country – so much so that it’s not even possible to get hold of the chips in many places.

Several customers and Instagram followers must have written to Mauri about this, because earlier this week he posted a picture on his Instagram story and explained the situation a little more.

“Never received as many DMs as the last few days, and they’re all about people not finding the chips”Mauri writes and continues:

“The problem is that they ran out almost everywhere, we sold out of 500,000 bags in one week.”

Mauri ends by apologizing to the followers.
