The 136 HP Fiat 600 debuts

The Fiat 600 in Italy it is available with two different powertrains, the 100 HP mild hybrid and the 156 HP electric. However, there has been talk for some time of the possibility that under the hood of the small crossover there could also be the 1.2 electrified 136 HPbut no confirmation has been received from the company. At least until today.

In Germany in fact, the Fiat 600 has just been presented with the most powerful version of the mild hybrid system, shared with numerous other models of the Stellantis Group such as the Alfa Romeo Junior, Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland.

More power, same consumption

The powertrain of the new Fiat 600 Hybrid It is composed, as mentioned, of the usual 1.2 turbo petrol 3-cylinder with 136 HP, coupled with a 21 kW (29 HP) electric motor integrated into the dual clutch automatic transmission 6-speed, which sends power and torque to the front wheels only.

The extra 36 HP benefits the performancewith 0-100 in 8.5″ and a top speed of 200 km/h, compared to 10.8″ and 186 km/h of the 100 HP version. The data relating to consumption and emissions – calculated according to the WLTP cycle – remain unchanged: between 4.5 and 5.5 litres every 100 km and 102/125 g/km of CO2, values which in Italy would bring the Fiat 600 Hybrid da 136 CV in the third band of 2024 car incentives. The possibility of moving in electric mode in certain conditions and for a handful of km, thanks to the 48V lithium-ion battery, also does not change.

From an aesthetic point of view, very little has changed, the only visible novelty is represented by the double exhaust on the right.
