82 years ago, on November 15, 1942, the first issue of “Slobodna Vojvodina”, which a decade later took the name “Dnevnik”, was printed on a rotary press, in an illegal printing house at Kisačka Street 89 in Novi Sad, with the editorial seal of Svetozar Marković Toza. .
“Dnevnik” Day, a significant date for the oldest daily newspaper published in Vojvodina in the Serbian language and printed in the Cyrillic script, was marked by the awarding of awards to the best journalists for exceptional contribution, and this year the awards went to Dubravka Nikolić, Slađana Aničić Ilić and Vuk Miloš Petrović. The editor-in-chief of “Dnevnik” Nada Vujović awarded them awards.

Colleagues who completed 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service at “Dnevnik” were also awarded. The president of the Union of Employees of “Dnevnik Vojvodina Presa” Miroslav Kovačević presented the awards to the jubilarians.
