Iker Jimenez begins the ‘Closing’ this week remembering his past in Mediaseteight years before it began to be broadcast ‘Fourth Millennium’. He did it as a reporter on a Telecinco program called ‘Zoom’ and adds that he had worked occasionally on several television networks.
Everything changed when ‘Cuarto Milenio’ began to air on Cuatro, as it was a more continuous television work and, from then on, things changed. Iker remembers that, the day after the first program of ‘The Mystery Ship’ was broadcast, he went down to the supermarket and heard what two older women they said about him.
“That must be good, then,” were his words when he saw Iker pick up some yogurts. And the women valued that specific brand due to the fact that Iker was taking them: “It seems that, in 2005, the television “It had enormous power over people’s judgment,” says Iker, who adds that the women ended up choosing those yogurts (although he opted for others).
At that moment, Iker Jiménez was aware that his life was going to change from then on: “I knew, immediately, that nothing was going to be exactly the same.” In line with this, Iker Jiménez makes an interesting reflection about your professional career, television and success.
