After a break of almost six years, the popular but controversial show has returned to the audience Victoria’s Secret fashion show. The creators of the parade of gorgeous performances have previously been accused mainly of promoting unrealistic standards of beauty, stating that the models parading in their underwear are too thin and too beautiful. The 2018 fashion show saw the show’s lowest audience figures in history – “only” 3.2 million seemed worth watching – and the event was temporarily canceled (of course, the Covid-19 pandemic also had an impact).
This time, the creators of the show promised a change, emphasizing that Victoria’s Secret has been working on rebranding to come back with more modern values and mission while not losing its essence – a glamorous show and familiar faces. Iconic models such as Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Paloma Elsesser, Ashley Graham, etc. participated in the fashion show, but at the climax of the event, pop star Cher took the stage, as well as famous artists such as Doja Cat, Sam Smith, etc. models have already reached the age of 40 and more, but are still in excellent shape. One of them – Kate Moss, who is already 50 years old, took the stage together with her daughter Lila Moss and other well-known models – 56-year-old Karla Bruni and 51-year-old Eva Herzigova.
