The anti-discrimination student movement will hold a sit-in program at Shahid Minar on Tuesday in favor of the declaration of the July People’s Uprising.
Abdul Hannan Masud, chief coordinator of the organization, told reporters this on Monday night.
He said, we want to give the declaration of mass coup. We have asked for the support of the state, so that we are supported. We have approached political parties to get them to support us. So that they accept the Declaration of People’s Revolution.
He said that the declaration of the July People’s Uprising is a historical document. This historical document must be accepted. This historical document will end the rotten politics. Various obstacles were created so that we could not present that historical document. But we won an initial victory, the government gave yes to our July coup manifesto. We anti-discrimination students will gather at Shaheed Minar. We will not stop coming together just because the declaration of the July coup will come from the government. People across the country will take to the streets and demonstrate their strength in favor of the declaration of the July People’s Uprising.
Abdul Hannan Masud called on everyone to come down on the streets for the proclamation. He said, “We will support the position taken by the government in favor of the declaration.”
