The apartment portfolio starts buying its own shares

The board of housing investment company Asuntosalku has decided to start the acquisition of the company’s own shares.

The maximum number of shares to be acquired is 5,000, which corresponds to approximately 0.5 percent of the company’s shares. However, a maximum of EUR 500,000 will be used for the acquisition of shares.

The apartment portfolio’s share price was EUR 81.00 on Friday. Half a million euros would currently give you about 6,172 shares without taking other expenses into account.

The housing portfolio has a total of 986,592 shares and the company does not currently own its own shares.

The acquisition of own shares will start on October 15 at the earliest and will end no later than the day before the 2025 annual general meeting, which is January 22 according to the preliminary schedule of the general meeting.

The purchase of own shares is financed with the company’s distributable free equity. The purpose of acquiring the company’s own shares is to develop the company’s capital structure and implement the dividend policy.
