As spring approaches, the world eagerly awaits the official announcement of the successor to the popular Nintendo Switch console. Due to the enormous interest, it’s no wonder that various tidbits about appearance or performance often leak onto the Internet. The most recent and apparently unplanned leak was experienced by Nintendo itself during this year’s CES fair. One of the accessory manufacturers there accidentally revealed almost the entire appearance of the upcoming device.
It all started in hall G, which is used by smaller companies to promote their products. The Genki booth had its place (the past tense is used here on purpose), which presented its accessories for the newly planned Nintendo Switch 2 console. However, more than that, the visitors were attracted by the mockups of the console itself and the video, which allegedly showed the console in all its glory.
The booth, including the materials, has already disappeared from the CES exhibition area, but quick journalists and fans managed to shoot and publish mock-up shots and video on the internet. Whether the video is true and the final appearance of the console will be identical to the video is not clear until Nintendo presents its console officially.
However, according to unofficial information, we could expect the official presentation of the console already this month. If the reports are confirmed, the new Nintendo Switch 2 could hit the market as early as spring.
