The argument he had with a CHP council member cost him his job: This situation is against humanity

Taş, who came to Kartal Municipality with his friends who supported him to protest his dismissal, opened a banner saying “I want my job back.”

Taş said that as a female worker, her job was unfairly taken away from her.

Stating that she is a female worker who has been working devotedly within Kartal Municipality for 10 years, Taş claimed that she was subjected to psychological violence, mobbing and injustice and said, “I am a worker whose job was taken away, whose right to compensation was usurped and who was left unemployed in a way that she cannot even receive unemployment benefits.” he said.

“THE DEBATE HAS GOT FURTHER IGNITED AND PASSED TO A DIFFERENT DIMENSION”

Taş argued that he was fired due to an argument he had with a CHP council member who tried to break the strike during the strike of Kartal Municipality workers and said:

“On Sunday, November 3, around 20.30-21.00, I saw the garbage being collected in the district and said that what was done was wrong. When I realized that this person was council member Özkan Özdemir, the discussion got more heated and went to a different dimension. When I told him that what he was doing was wrong and that he should be with the worker, he suddenly He raised his voice and said, ‘You are eating bread from the municipality, don’t be ungrateful.’ “He started shouting and it turned into an individual argument because I was working in the municipality and he knew me.”

“IT RESULTED IN A TOTALLY ARBITRATORY AND WITHOUT COMPENSATION”

Taş noted that his personal argument with the CHP council member was later brought within the institution and said, “This situation resulted in my employment rights being usurped and terminated completely arbitrarily and without compensation. This situation is against labor law and humanity. This termination is just an attack on a worker’s labor.” “This situation, which I am subjected to as a woman who takes care of animals, looks after disabled cats and dogs, and struggles for her life, is completely contrary to the social municipalism approach claimed by Kartal Municipality.” he said.

“I DEMAND ALL MY RIGHTS TO BE RETURNED”

Emphasizing that he will not remain silent in the face of the injustice he experienced and that he will defend his rights with the legal struggle he initiated, Taş said, “I demand that this mistake be reversed immediately, that I return to my job that was unjustly usurped, and that all my rights be returned.” he said.

Taş also thanked those who came to the municipality for their support and did not leave him alone.
