The art exhibition “Moment” will open at the Center of Polish Culture

On January 9 at 16:00 the opening of a painting exhibition will take place in the gallery of the Center of Polish Culture (30 Warsaw St.) Leld Kunjini “A moment”, reported on the self-government portal.

The exhibition will present various moments captured by the artist – the joy of life together between mother and daughter, the magic of summer meadows, the mysterious expression of the eyes in portraits, as well as the dance of a flexible female body among meadow flowers.

«Life consists of small, unique moments. To be here and now, to enjoy every moment given to you from the heart is a real blessing.”, emphasizes Lelde Kundziņa.

In Daugavpils, the artist is known as the “flower fairy”, since most often she paints flowers in a variety of ways and techniques, but recently she has begun to express herself creatively in the portrait genre.

«I work in different techniques, but I still like oil the most. I like the texture of the stroke“adds the author of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be on view until February 4. Admission is free.

Lelde Kundziņa was born in Liepaja, graduated from the Daugavpils Saules Art Secondary School, where she received a textile artist diploma, and graduated from the Environmental Design program of the Baltic International Academy. She currently teaches fine arts at Daugavpils Iespēju Secondary School, as well as painting at Saules School.

She is a participant in several group and solo exhibitions. This time the artist invites us to look at the most beautiful moments of her life.
