On the occasion of celebrating Pink October – the month of the fight against breast cancer, the building of the Parliament of Montenegro was lit up in pink tonight.
“The Assembly of Montenegro, like many important institutions in the world, strives to convey the Pink October campaign to as wide an audience as possible, thus pointing out the importance of preventive health examinations, the necessity of early diagnosis and the timely completion of treatment of this most commonly diagnosed malignant disease,” the Parliament of Montenegro announced.
It is added that in order to raise awareness of the importance of preventive examinations and health care, the Assembly will host a lecture by Dr. Sanja Lekić, director of the Institute of Oncology, which can be watched live on the Parliamentary channel on October 11 from 11 a.m.
