The Asturian restaurant Casa Marcial, the only new three-star in the Michelin Guide

Casa Marcial (Arriondas, Asturias) is the only restaurant that has achieved the three stars of the Michelin Guide this Tuesday in its 2025 edition of Spanish gastronomy, and A Levante (Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz), Lú Cocina y Alma ( Jerez, Cádiz) and Retiro Da Costiña (Santa Comba, A Coruña) the new two-stars.

Until now, the list of restaurants with three Michelin stars in Spain was made up of 15 establishments, after enjoying and Noor were added last year. Now, Casa Marcial also appears in this select group of the most recognized chefs in the country. Abac, Akelarre, Aponiente, Arzak, Atrio, Azurmendi, Cocina Hermanos Torres, Cenador de Amós, Enjoy, Quique Dacosta, DiverXO, El Celler de Can Roca, Martín Berasategui, Lasarte and Noor are the establishments that make up this list.

This was announced this afternoon at the gala that the Michelin Guide Spain 2025 held at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Congress Center in Murcia, where 32 restaurants were recognized with one star, and in which it was also confirmed that the 15 restaurants with three Michelin stars that existed until this edition will continue to retain this distinction.

In this way, the Michelin Guide now includes 300 Spanish establishments. There are 16 who next year will wear the three stars, the highest recognition. Another 33 restaurants have two stars, after the three additions this year. Finally, the group closes the 242 establishments that have one star, to which 32 restaurants have joined.
