Wireless gaming keyboards are experiencing a golden age, so it’s no wonder that manufacturers are constantly trying to improve them more and more. Asus also knows about this, as it prides itself on high quality, for which, however, it gets properly paid.

The same applies to the newly introduced successor to the ROG Azoth keyboard with the addition of Extreme, for which the company said a brave $499. For this price, you can buy, for example, a mid-performance Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card or an Intel Core i7-14700KF processor in our region.

The Asus ROG Azoth Extreme keyboard offers the same 75% reduction as its predecessor, an aluminum alloy chassis and metal frame, foam layers to absorb vibrations, custom ROG NX mechanical switches and a fully customizable OLED display accompanied by a three-way control knob for system monitoring and quick keyboard settings.

The design of the keyboard is purely subjective and for everyone to judge individually, but the keyboard cannot be denied its “character” and its own unique style. Compared to its predecessor, ROG Azoth Extreme brings improvements in the form of the new ROG Polling Rate Booster, which is basically a receiver that increases the polling rate to a real 8000 Hz even in wireless mode.

Compared to its predecessor, the keyboard has a smaller display, specifically from the original 2″ to 1.47″, but now it is fully colored and offers more display and control options. Durability is also worth noting. Asus on your pages boasts a battery life of up to 1600+ hours in 2.4GHz RF mode, of course with the backlight and OLED display completely off.
