A man from Upper Austria mysteriously disappeared after going out to do some shopping. The wife reported the case to the police, a search operation was launched, and the body of the unfortunate man was finally found in the Danube river.
A 49-year-old man from Upper Austria was traveling with his wife on Donaustraße by car on Wednesday evening. When he had to go to the bathroom, he stopped in a parking lot in Grein an der Donau. Since he never returned, his wife reported him missing to the police. The body of the unfortunate man was found around noon today at the Ybbs hydroelectric plant in Lower Austria. A total of 20 firefighters, rescue dogs and a drone participated in the search operation. The police suspect that it was an accident that he rolled down the bank while urinating and fell into the Danube. The investigation of all the circumstances of the case is still ongoing, writes Heute.
