There’s still time until January, but now it’s time to get a little excited about Yle’s new space series.

Prisma: Aurinkokunta (Solar System, 2024) starts on Yle TV1 on Tuesday, January 14 at 19:00. On Yle Areena, you can watch all five episodes of the series one day earlier, that is, on Monday, January 13.

Yle has described the Aurinkokunta series as follows:

“In the big series produced by the BBC, we travel through our solar system, we get to know e.g. to planetary volcanoes, floating glaciers and massive dust storms. Thanks to cutting-edge technology, we get more and more answers to the big questions that concern humanity. In the series, experts are heard and the solar system is illustrated with amazing animation.”

The names of the episodes are:

  1. Volcanoes
  2. At the outer edges of the solar system
  3. Myrskyt
  4. Frozen worlds
  5. Strange phenomena

Prisma: The Solar System can be viewed from Areena until 13 January 2026.
