Russians will be able to watch a unique spectacle – a supermoon is likely on the night of November 16th. A Beaver or Frost Moon will appear, experts say.
They note that at 0:29 Moscow time the Moon will be at perigee – as close as possible to the Earth, which will make its light especially bright.
The Beaver Moon received its name in connection with ancient traditions regarding animal behavior at this time of year. It is believed that on this night the beavers will be clearly visible, since there are no leaves on the trees.
