- In terms of equipment, the differences between more expensive and cheaper phones are gradually blurring
- Today, we pay extra especially for the ability to take better quality photos
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G offers a quality camera even in the lower middle class
When it comes to using your phone for normal activities such as making calls, surfing the Internet and social networks, or communicating through various chattels, both cheap and expensive phones will do the job well. The bread begins to break during the performance of more demanding applications, and what is saved on are also the cameras. Even with a budget of up to 5,000 crowns, however, you can find a piece that takes nice photos.

If you are specifically looking for the quality of photography, it is worth following the evaluations on the Dx0Mark platform, which specializes in evaluating how well cameras, lenses, and even smartphones take pictures. In the case of mid-range phones with a starting price of up to $300 (6,800 crowns), Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G took first place. It received a solid score of 91 points in the Dx0Mark ranking. At the same time, it has a lead of six points over the second Motorola Moto G54 5G.
Since its launch in mid-January, the price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 has already fallen below 5,000 crowns and therefore meets the price criterion. Official Czech store Xiaomi currently offers it for 4,299 crowns in the 6/128 GB combination and for 4,999 crowns in the 8/256 GB combination.

High resolution and smart algorithms
A score of 91 is not enough for the very top. For example, the absolute number one Huawei Pura 70 Ultra took home 163 points. However, its price exceeds our budget by almost six times. However, it still offers above-average photos in the given price range, especially in good lighting conditions. Xiaomi also helps itself to these results by deploying several intelligent algorithms.
In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G boasts a 108 Mpx main camera, complemented by an 8 Mpx ultra-wide sensor and a 2 Mpx macro. The front selfie camera then received an above-standard resolution of 16 Mpx. Against the higher and more expensive version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, which successfully passed in our photo test, it got a slightly lower resolution and lost optical image stabilization.
