After a break of almost three weeks, the world’s best biathletes are finally getting back on track: There’s a real treat in the World Cup in store for the German ski hunters in particular: the first of two home games this winter. Where are the Oberhof races running live on TV and stream?
Who would have thought that before the season? It was not Lisa Vittozzi from Italy, Lou Jeanmonnot from France, her compatriots Justine Braisaz-Bouchet or Julia Simon or the Norwegian Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold who left their mark on the first trimester of the women’s biathlon season, but rather Franziska Preuß from the German Ski Association (DSV ).
With 565 World Cup points and six podium places from eight races, the 30-year-old has a big lead in the overall ranking over Elvira Öberg from Sweden (371 points).
With Vanessa Voigt (5th place) and Selina Grotian (10th place), two more DSV women are represented in the top 10. Now it’s time to present the strong form at the home World Cup in Oberhof.
