The bittersweet success story of chocolate heaven in Keila. “Business in general is delicious”

There is a strong smell of cocoa near the factory in Keila. November Mud, which looks like chocolate, brings us into the theme perfectly. An inattentive eye may mistake cocoa beans scattered during unloading for ordinary pebbles.

But these “ordinary stones” today can be figuratively called brown gold. The price of chocolate has risen rapidly, and, according to the management of the cocoa mass producing company Panamir, it will not decrease for at least another four to five years.

The Keila-based company produces cocoa mass at such a rate that its turnover increases by 20 million euros annually. Profits for last year exceeded 9 million euros. “Business as a whole is delicious,” Panamir executives note.
