It was determined that the body found wrapped in a blanket in a bed base on the bank of a stream in Kırşehir the other day belonged to Iranian national MA (30). Approximately 1 kilo of drugs were found in MA’s stomach during the autopsy. One of the 3 Afghan nationals who were detained on the grounds that they caused MA’s death by giving him liquid to flush the drugs from his stomach after he became unwell, was arrested.
In the morning hours of July 16, a person collecting scrap metal in the Bahçelievler neighborhood found a bed base by the stream. This person opened the bed base and reported it to the police when he came across a male body wrapped in a blanket. Police teams were dispatched to the area upon the report. The body was taken to the Kırşehir Education and Research Hospital for an autopsy to determine the identity and cause of death. The statement of the scrap metal collector who found the body was also taken.
HE CARRIED 1 KILO OF DRUGS IN HIS STOMACH
The Provincial Police Department Public Security Branch teams, who launched an investigation into the incident, watched 200 hours of footage from security cameras in the area. In the studies carried out, it was determined that the body belonged to Iranian national MA. In the autopsy of MA, who was determined to be a drug courier, 1 kilo of drugs were found in his stomach.
It was determined that MA, who came to the city, became ill at the house of Afghan nationals FN, SZS and MN, where he was staying. It was determined that 3 Afghans made MA drink liquid to flush the drugs from his stomach. When MA lost his life, it was determined that the 3 suspects placed his body in a bed base, took it to the edge of the stream on a 3-wheeled electric bicycle and left it there.
Police teams detained 3 suspects in an operation conducted at their address. After the procedures at the police station, SZS was arrested and brought to court, while the other 2 people were released on probation.
