The body of a miner was discovered during the removal of rubble at the site of the collapse at the Tashtagolskaya mine in the Kemerovo region, the regional head office of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.
“During the rescue operation, the body of the missing miner was found under the rubble without signs of life. Measures are being taken to bring it to the surface,” it says in the department’s Telegram channel.
Rescuers and investigators from the Investigative Committee continue to work at the scene.
As part of the investigation, witnesses are interrogated, technological documentation is confiscated and the necessary examinations are ordered.
