You can also look forward to a fashion show by the popular Hugo Boss brand, which is a hot favorite in the field of fashion here in the Czech Republic as well. In today’s article, you will find out what Bossů has prepared for this year’s autumn/winter show and you will also look at a few photos directly from the catwalk or from behind the scenes.

Something is brewing

BOSS Gallery Collection comes with a new collection for Fall/Winter 2018, with a presentation they prepared at New York Fashion Week. The design was created by BOSS Womenswear Artistic Director, Jason Wu. He was inspired for this season by the artist Robert Morris from New York, whose clean and constructed minimalism is translated using the tailoring codes he picked up in his home.

The intention of the new collection

The tailoring was done with innovative processes, with regard to the construction of the fabric and with love. The BOSS collection comes with a new interpretation of the female silhouette, which is defined by highlighting the costume in the shoulder area and a shaped waist that sensually emphasizes the curves and grace of the female body. The design of each model remains in line with the tradition of the BOSS brand, and as always focuses on elaborate details.

Surprising models full of femininity

Satin dresses and small knits give the collection a new look at femininity. The collection features stripe patterns, but also decorations with intricate geometric stitching. The elegant slanted zippers on the dress also play their role here, adding even more to the charm of feminine curves. Oversized knitwear is light and airy, sewn with soft, high-quality Merino wool.

Shapes, colors and other games

As with BOSS Womenswear, the focus is on details influenced by the work of Robert Morris. Traditional tailoring fabrics such as wool flannel and felt are full of imaginative cuts and cuts. Patterns of stripes, which are provided with satin and chiffon, also play their role here. The contrasting color emphasizes the rough edges, while the mohair fabric softens the model.
