the bull market continues, but the technology sector should be cautious

The two-year bull market of the US stock market will continue next year as well, but the success of the technology sector may not last long, Redgate Capital partner Valeria Kiisk said.

Kiisk considered that the following year will be another good year for the US stock market, but noted that the market is very volatile and the investor must take this into account.

However, Kiisk would be more careful with the technology sector. “Depending on the economic cycle, the investor has to think about which sectors to prefer more and which less. A very nice ride has already been made with technology. Will it continue – I would perhaps be a bit hesitant,” said the financial expert.

Kiisk also talked about the US presidential election and its impact on the stock market, the conflict in the Middle East and falling interest rates.
