The Cabinet of Ministers allocated almost 500 billion rubles for the implementation of preferential mortgage programs

The Russian government will allocate an additional 446.9 billion rubles for the implementation of preferential mortgage programs.

As reported on the Cabinet website, the corresponding order signed by Prime Minister Michael Mishustin.

The funds will be used to subsidize the interest rate under the Family Mortgage program at 6%. 142 billion rubles will be spent on this.

To support the Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage program at 2%, 35.1 billion rubles are earmarked.

Approximately 269.8 billion rubles will be used to subsidize the interest rate on previously issued loans under the Preferential Mortgage program.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate more than 9.2 billion rubles for the socio-economic development of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as Karelia and Chechnya.
