The “cafetzou” and the gang from Megara

The police have released the personal details of the members of the ring that has been defrauding a 72-year-old man of Greek origin for the past nine years under the pretext of practicing the “art” of coffee-making in the Megara area.

Let us recall that on the morning of Wednesday, November 13, a police operation was carried out that led to the arrest of three people involved, among them the so-called “cafetzou” who had a leading role.

«The identity information, the photographs and the criminal prosecution against three citizens, members of a criminal organization which was dismantled on 11-13-2024 by the Department of Megareon Security of the Directorate of Prosecution and Crime Investigation of Attica (related Press Release from 11-16-2024).

This specific publication, according to the relevant Prosecutor’s Order, is aimed at the primary need to protect society from such criminal acts that violate the freedom of movement of the individual in his physical space and to investigate, detect and prosecute crimes of a similar nature committed by the above accused at the expense of other victims.
