The election slogans expressed in the Lääne Elu article a week ago have cast doubt on the continuation of Haapsalu City Council Chairman Jaanus Karilaiu as the head of the council.
“There are three options on the table today: Jaanus Karilaid will continue as the chairman of the council, Jaanus Karilaid will resign, Jaanus Karilaid will be distrusted,” Karilaid told Lääne Elu yesterday. “For me, these three are of equal weight and I will make a decision between them on Monday.”
