That the change of time can seriously affect the quality of sleep and the amount of energy is proven not only by the experience of many of us, but also by scientific studies more and more often. The transition to a new regime – although in the case of winter time change it means an hour longer sleep – is not indicative of our circadian rhythms (ie internal body clock) and can, in addition to sleep, have a negative effect on our immunity, concentration and mood.

In half a year, an even more demanding period awaits us. The time change to summer time is associated with an hourly reduction in sleep time, which can even increase the risk of cardiovascular events and depression in more sensitive and elderly individuals. In short, the alternation of time shows us what a huge impact sleep has on our body and psyche. Fortunately, there are effective and science-based ways to support your sleep – and these are the contents of the Sleep for It course!
