The color combinations of Paris Fashion Week SS25

During Paris Fashion Week SS25, designers present a range of intriguing colors and color combinations. ‘Latte dressing’, wearing elegant styles in different shades of brown, is gaining ground and will continue into next season. The catwalks show a palette of neutral tones that tell a story, while the growing interest in corporate ‘corpcore’ creates looks in multiple shades of gray, often combined with other colors. At the same time, bright colors and pastel combinations – just like in other ‘big four’ fashion cities – bring a touch of optimism in an otherwise uncertain time.

Look 21: A bright red dress with an asymmetrical high-low hem was fitted with a horse-buckle belt over burgundy shorts under a burgundy blazer and finished with strappy sandals.

Look 30: A bright red zip-up hoodie with fitted collar was shown over a striped T-shirt and a blue and white striped shirt under a black leather car jacket, pinstripe baggy shorts and black pumps with a transparent ‘sock’.

Look 8: A V-neck sweater with a red, black and white diamond pattern and another sweater with a pattern on the cuffs. Black Bermuda shorts, a belt and statement boots completed the look.

Look 25: A halter body with cutouts in bright red with black trim and a low-cut pleated skirt in gray and purple satin. Accessories included multiple chain straps, a handbag, long gray stirrups and white peep-toe sandals.

Look 4: A pink rib knit cardigan and matching sweater tied on one shoulder with a gray jersey V-neck dress wrapped around the waist. Accessories included woven silver slippers and a beige pressed leather bag.

Look 47: A pink cropped bomber jacket with puff sleeves over an ocher knit top and a pink lace camisole was worn with brown shorts with a balloon hem, an olive green bag on a chain strap, ocher lace-up sandals and brown framed glasses.

Look 45: a pink leather bomber jacket over a pink printed body and burgundy suede shorts with lace-up closure at the front. Accessories included burgundy suede Greek sandals and shoulder bag, a belt and bracelet with bright pink beads.

Zimmermann

Look 48: a long, checked skirt in peach and pink lace with a wide orange belt and a brown halter body with a deep V-neck. Bohemian chains and beige thongs completed the look.
