Once again, on the eve of Teacher’s Day, the “Come Out and Solve!” test will attract the attention of Russians of all ages to the importance and beauty of technical sciences. The organizers and key partners of the test are the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Phystech-Union, VK Education and All Cups. In 2024, the event is being implemented with grant support from the Movement of the First and with the assistance of the MIPT Endowment Fund and the Gorchakov Fund.

The test includes five disciplines: mathematics, physics, biology, computer science and astronomy. Participants can choose one or more areas and try their hand at solving problems that are designed for the level of school knowledge of grades 8-9. To participate in the test, you must register on the All Cups technology platform from VK, which can be done as early as August.

More than 700 in-person locations will be opened across the country where participants can come in person to take the test. These locations will be set up at universities, schools and cultural centres, where interactive events for participants and their families will also be held. Registration for in-person locations is now open. You can register and learn more about the selection criteria at official website of Phystech-Unionand more about the Control in community “Come out and decide!” VKontakte.

This year, 50 key points across Russia will be selected to receive a special status, support from the organizers, and a large set of gifts for the test participants. Educational celebrations will be held at the sites.

A rating of participants is formed separately for each of the five subjects. All participants will receive certificates of passing the test. The winners will be awarded prizes from the partners of the educational event. The absolute winners will be those who show the best results in all disciplines.

“In six years, “Come Out and Solve!” has transformed from a local project into a large-scale event that brings together thousands of participants from 74 regions of Russia and 20 countries. During this time, more than 200,000 people have completed the test, and the number of in-person sites has increased from 400 to 1,000. Our goal is to make “Come Out and Solve!” the most popular scientific event in the country, to involve more than 1 million participants, so that everyone can discover the world of knowledge and science.” — the project manager said Veronika Yakubovich.
