“Husköp i Blindo” is the program where couples and families leave their house search and savings in the hands of a group of experts. With the help of a power of attorney, they have free rein to buy, renovate and furnish the participants’ future dream home, without them seeing it themselves first.

Sandra and Marcus live on the High Coast, and both love nature and peace. This is something they are now looking for in a new home. The couple has been together for 16 years, and currently lives in an apartment in a village outside Örnsköldsvik. When they look out the window, they don’t want to see cars or houses, but rather forests and meadows.

In “Husköp i blindo” Sandra and Marcus hand over control and their savings to the program’s experts. The broker Sebastian Stojanovic and the decorator Lena Nyman will together create the couple’s dream home, this with the help of a total budget of SEK 2 million.
Sandra and Marcus have three requirements for their future house, and they are as follows:

This is something that worries the broker Sebastian Stojanovic, who believes that the couple has a little too many demands within their budget. But after seven months of searching, he finally manages to find a suitable object, and Marcus and Sandra are suddenly homeowners.

It is then time for the presenter Carin da Silva to bring Sandra and Marcus to the house for the first time, and they have no idea where exactly it is or what it looks like from the outside.
Sandra’s biggest fear is that there will be too much pine in the house, and it is a nightmare that is coming true. It is pine in large parts of their new home. Also, the kitchen is much smaller than they had hoped, and they regret not including it as one of their three requirements.

– The downstairs feels a little too small to take guests home, says Sandra.
Sandra and Marcus wanted at least one bathroom, and next to the hall there is a colorful one.
– It smells like my grandmother’s bathroom. It’s this kind of interior design there, says Sandra.

If you take the pine stairs to the upper floor, there is a small bedroom, a large family room and a large bathroom. But Sandra and Marcus are anything but satisfied.
– It feels like we have bought a sauna, says the couple.
The house is a wooden house built in 1931 and is 110 square meters in size, and the final price landed at SEK 1.4 million. When all fees are paid, it means that Lena Nyman now has SEK 500,000 to renovate and furnish the house. Will Sara and Marcus finally be satisfied?
