Last Friday, the court took 50-year-old Ahti, who had kept the residents of Haapsalle in fear for a long time, under arrest for two months.

“At the request of the prosecutor’s office, the court initially took the suspect into custody for up to two months, because according to both the prosecutor’s office and the court, he may continue to commit crimes if he remains free,” Lääne district prosecutor Marelle Ulla told Lääne Elu.
