Two weeks ago, the legendary band The Cure returned to the scene with a new song “Alone“, their first new track after 16 years. Now they’re back with another single: “A Fragile Thing„.
“A Fragile Thing” was released today as a preview of their upcoming 14th studio album, Songs of a Lost World. This track shows that the gothic rock band is still in top form, starting with an intriguing piano intro before turning into an energetic rock song with The Cure’s signature guitar.
Album Songs of a Lost Worldwhose release is scheduled for November 1, has been in preparation for a long time. Originally planned for a 2019 release, the album was shelved and the band meanwhile embarked on a major ‘Shows of a Lost World’ tour, premiering many songs from the album, including ‘A Fragile Thing’.
