We don’t have much time left, as of January 16 of next year, the traditional customer portal will cease to exist and will be replaced by the Customer Portal+ and the Digital Citizenship Program (DÁP).
As our paper also reported, the customer portal no longer fully complies with the provisions of the European Union regulations regarding identification, and therefore this interface will cease to exist. Ügyfélkapu+ and DÁP are safer in many ways, including cyber security.
It is important to complete the Customer Portal+ registration by January 15, 2025, because on January 16, 2025, we will no longer be able to enter the traditional Customer Portal with the corresponding username and password.
If we do not complete any of the registrations by mid-January (Customer Gateway+ and/or DÁP), we will not be able to handle electronically the matters that require customer gateway access.
This is how the Customer Portal+ registration works

It is better with DÁP
If you want a simpler solution, it is worth using the DÁP, since in this case there is no need to enter a username and password, we can take care of our affairs after telephone identification.
The purpose of the Digital Citizen application is precisely to make official administration even easier and possible from a mobile phone. In addition, the functionality of the application is constantly expanding.
From September, registered digital citizens will be able to access about 200 state websites that require identification, such as Magyarország.hu, Egészségablak, eSZJA, their storage and other state services, much easier than at present with the help of the Digital Citizen application.
This means that instead of entering their username and their complicated, long password that includes lowercase, uppercase letters, numbers and special characters, all you have to do is take out your phone, use the Digital Citizen application to scan the QR code displayed on the given interface, and the application will do the work. identification and access to the site.
Moreover, this access method is not only orders of magnitude simpler and more convenient, since you don’t have to remember many passwords, but it is also more secure than before, as citizens can protect the application with their fingerprint or facial recognition, so only they can access it.
