The debate organized by La Vanguardia, on the occasion of the US presidential elections, and scheduled for this Wednesday afternoon in Barcelona, has been suspended, as a sign of mourning for the victims of the floods in Valencia and Albacete.
The event was going to be held at seven in the afternoon this Wednesday at the MGS Auditorium under the title “Harris-Trump. The world at stake”, with the moderation of the journalist Ramon Rovira and the participation of the diplomatic correspondent of La Vanguardia, Xavier Mas de Xaxàs; from the Harvard University affiliate, Mercè Crossas; from the political scientist and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Generalitat, Victòria Alsina and from the former correspondent of TV3 in the USA, Xesco Reverter.
Among the public that was going to attend the event, one hundred La Vanguardia subscribers had been invited, through a raffle organized by Club Vanguardia. In addition to the resources of the Godó Group, the debate was also organized by the Fundació Institut d’Estudis Nord-americans, and supported by Indra and Endesa.
