The past record is tragic, MCFC has won only one of the past thirteen matches in all competitions, losing as many as nine times.
“I’m moving on, I’m going to try to turn it around. Sometimes you think that the bad streak will end sooner or you will fix it easier, but we need more time. But I’m not giving up, I want to stay here,” said Guardiola.
City is in seventh place in the table, currently losing six points to fourth place, which is the last to guarantee a place in the lucrative Champions League. They are 14 points behind leaders Liverpool.
