Technics has introduced the EAH-AZ100, the latest true wireless headphones to join the family of award-winning audio products backed by over 60 years of audio innovation and premium product development. The EAH-AZ100 enhances the sound experience with a new patented magnetic fluid driver, which achieves extremely low distortion, accurate and rich bass and high-resolution sound for the most authentic and balanced audio experience, faithful to the original source.

For stress-free communication, the EAH-AZ100 benefits from Voice Focus AI, a unique new feature that combines an AI noise reduction chip with exclusive tuning and three microphones in each earpiece so that both the person speaking and the listeners, to benefit from a superior call quality experience.

The Voice Focus AI function not only addresses the different types of noise during calls – such as heavy traffic, wind or noisy children in the background – but also analyzes the incoming sound and improves the hearing quality of the callers. Magnetic fluid driver technology has been miniaturized from the renowned Technics EAH-TZ700 wired in-ear monitors and introduced into these new true wireless headphones. Carrying over this ‘Magnetic-Fluid’ technology from the TZ700 enables a new level of low-distortion sound for the EAH-AZ100 headphones, while an ultra-thin diaphragm free edge ensures accurate low-frequency response for rich bass reproduction – and an aluminum diaphragm produces high-resolution separation and natural sonic detail.

“Magnetic Fluid” is an oil filled with magnetic particles that is injected into the space between the driver magnet and the voice coil allowing for low distortion playback. All of this creates a dynamic, rhythmic and detailed listening experience so you can hear your favorite music recordings as the artist originally intended.

Taking the performance even further, for that ‘live concert sound’ feeling, the EAH-AZ100 is also compatible with sound sources optimized for Dolby Atmos. With Dolby Audio, podcasts, movies, music and games have enhanced vocal content clarity. Designed to fit any lifestyle, the EAH-AZ100s also include award-winning features from previous Technics flagship models.

Technics is the first brand to offer 3-device multi-point connectivity – connects to laptop, tablet and smartphone in minutes. In addition, the EAH-AZ100 makes it even easier to seamlessly switch to whatever device you want to use and, on request, can notify users with notifications of nearby connected devices.

The fit and shape of the case have also been improved, reducing the size and weight of the headset for all-day comfort, whether you’re taking calls at work or enjoying your favorite artist or the latest TV series. There is also a new ear adapter, thus covering more options to help the user achieve the best seal, sound quality and noise canceling performance.

This smaller and lighter design is also environmentally friendly. Following Panasonic’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint, these new headphones come in new packaging that is 100% plastic-free, saving space and weight.

You can also take the hassle out of charging your true wireless headphones with compatible Qi wireless charging. Battery life has also been improved. With advanced noise cancellation enabled, the headphones have a playback autonomy of up to 10 hours without the case and up to 28 hours with it.

Also added is Conversation mode, which can be activated with a single touch, which stops the music and switches to transparent mode, focusing on the “voice” element, so you can have a conversation without removing the AZ100 headphones from your ears. Then, when you take the AZ100 out of your ears, the wearable sensors are useful to pause the music and disable the touch sensors to prevent any unwanted control, and you can simply put them back in to automatically resume music and control.

For maximum connectivity, the EAH-AZ100 also supports the new Bluetooth LE audio standard and Auracast feature to pair and share your audio experience, as well as the LC3 codec for low-latency audio when playing games or watching videos. Compatible with Google Fast Pair, Android users can also automatically sync selected nearby devices and accessories.

The Technics Audio Connect app is available on iOS or Android devices for easy access to preferences and custom sound tuning, as well as convenient features such as location tracking in case you misplace your headphones.
