The “ergonomic” version of the Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 has arrived

The pictures and videos that are multiplying on the web suggested this quite a bit, and there was also the official announcement.

A new, strictly right-handed mouse has appeared in the Logitech range, but before some people rejoice, it is not the wrinkled version of the G403/G703. Regardless, at first glance, the expensive one is an interesting mule, because we can respect the design of the wireless G PRO X Superlight 2 ergo in person, which is Dex got a suffix to its name, and although it is not small at all, its weight still stops at 60 grams.

Looking at the rodent’s length of 125.8 mm, width of 67.7 mm, and height of 43.9 mm, this is more the minimum than overly impressive (even if there are no holes on the casing), but I’m happy to we assume that the manufacturer does not force the half-brick line again.

The 888 ips/88 gs HERO 2 sensor, which scales from 100 to 44,000 cpi, works in the belly of the five-button device, which is capable of 8000 Hz sampling and communicates with a 2.4 GHz Lightspeed radio, while the company’s main clicks Lightforce hybrid switches were installed. Like its symmetrical cousin, a status LED has been placed on the center line of the device’s palm rest, and its built-in battery promises about 95 hours of operating time. It is refueled and the cable mode is activated with a USB Type-C/Type-A cord (PVC, not paracord, but at least it looks flexible enough), but for the latter, it does not hurt to keep in mind that the ceiling of the polling rate will be 1000 Hz .

The sensor ring that reduces cpi deviation is not missing from the belly of the cursor guide, while the teflon pads copy the arrangement of the simple Superlight 2, but they will certainly be of the same low quality. Of course, this is not worth bothering about, the more experienced people are already used to this, and they factor the purchase of a fresh, third-party set into the equation from the start. By the way, the construction supports PowerPlay charging, so it can be solved so that we never have to connect the peripheral to a cord, but the price of the mouse pad required for this is extremely expensive compared to what we get for our money, and it also completely limits our options in terms of surface area/size.

In the box of the product, which is produced in black, white, or bright pink, an extension adapter is hidden as an extra on the PowerPlayes cover element with PTFE slipper that removes the cover of the dongle compartment installed at the bottom, as well as a wipe and a set of grip tape. Actually, the initiative is interesting, but the company did not treat the purchase price with gloved hands, as it set it at (net) 160 dollars, which in domestic terms means no less than HUF 70,000.
