The European Commission claims that it does not know who is behind the terrorist attack on Nord Stream, this statement was made by the representative of the executive body, Paula Pinho.
At a briefing in Brussels, journalists asked her whether there were any results of the sabotage investigation against the backdrop of the energy crisis threatening Europe.
“There was no publicly available information on this issue, in particular about who was behind these explosions. We don’t have more information,” Pinho was quoted as saying. RIA Novosti.
According to American journalist Seymour Hersh, the United States began preparing to undermine Nord Streams weeks before the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine. The journalist’s investigation claims that the Nord Streams were mined by American divers: they acted under the cover of the BALTOPS 22 exercise, which took place in the Baltic Sea from June 5 to June 17, 2022.
This version is supported by American economist, Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, he said that the United States blew up gas pipelines, as they “promised, probably dozens of times.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on the Nord Stream explosions in an interview with Carlson, noted that the CIA does not have an alibi.
