The excitement of the first electric motorbike race made by United E-Motor

DAPURPACUID – PT Terang Dunia Internusa (UNTD), holder of the United E-Motor brand in Indonesia, successfully held the first road race specifically for electric motorbikes in the country.

Taking place at the Sentul International Karting Circuit, Bogor, West Java, Sunday (13/10), this competition was attended by dozens of riders, including national racers.

Three categories were contested in this one make race, namely the United TX3000 class, United MX1200 class and Avand SC Series class (SC 121 & SC 122).

UNTD Director, Henry Mulyadi said he was proud that his party could hold a single brand racing event with professional status successfully and received high enthusiasm from participants and spectators.

This pride continued as United E-Motor became the first electric motorbike brand to hold this racing championship in Indonesia.

“This also proves that the United E-Motor product is not just an ordinary electric motorbike, but has been race proven, its capabilities have been tested even on the racing field,” he explained.

“And it also proves that the SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries used in the United MX1200 and Avand SC Series are also tough and tested on the race track,” said Henry after handing over the trophy.

Tight Competitive Atmosphere

Throughout, the competition was quite tight, with satisfactory final race results for the three categories contested. United MX1200 was the first class to compete.

The first position was won by a young racer from Bantaeng, Aan Riswanto with a time of 13:56.446. Putra Oktario (14:04.384) and Muhammad Iqbal (14:10.971) were in third place.

Followed by Muhammad Rivqi Alatas who ran with a time of 14:12.459, occupying fifth and fourth positions was Keane Serhapyra who recorded a time of 14:13.437.

Meanwhile, in the prestigious United TX3000 class, senior racer Muhammad Nurgianto managed to beat his competitors with the fastest time of 12:11.868.

“The motorbike is stable, the speed is good and strong,” said Nurgianto after receiving the trophy on the highest podium at the Sentul Karting Circuit.

Second place was achieved by Aan Riswanto with a narrow time difference of 12:11.966. The third podium was occupied by a national racer from Surabaya, Tommy Salim, followed by Muhammad Rivqi Alatas and Bobby M. Lopulalan in fourth and fifth respectively.

In the Avand SC Series class (SC 121 & SC 122), it was Muhammad Rivqi Alatas’ turn to win first place. Meanwhile, Aan Riswanto was in second place, followed by Ahmad Saugi in third. In fourth and fifth positions were Reynaldi Fabiano and Tommy Salim.

“Avand’s class is very satisfying. We hope that in the future championships like this can be even more exciting. “Hopefully there can be more participants and more classes,” said Saugi.

For information, all United E-Motor motorbikes used for racing have not undergone any changes or modifications in all electrical aspects.

“Everything complies with the standards issued by the manufacturer. “Our motorbikes have all original engines, so the ones used for racing are in accordance with the existing (specifications),” said Henry.

“There are only a few parts reduced, which could interfere with the smooth running of the race, such as headlights and kickstands or motorbike standards,” added Henry further.

During the event, United E-Motor gave visitors the opportunity to try out several types of electric motorbikes through test rides carried out in the prepared area.

There are Avand SC 121 & SC 122 types which are also taking part in the competition, as well as two types of electric motorbikes, namely the C2000 and MT1500, which can be tested for the first time.
