A 6-year-old girl dies after falling from swing in a playground in Villongo, in the province of Bergamo. The little girl, Ritej Lahmar, was hit on the head by the car seat while she was still on the ground. The swing accident
The tragic accident occurred in Monday evening 2nd Septemberwhen the little girl, daughter of a Moroccan couple, was in the “Don Abele Agostinelli” park in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the Villongo di San Filastro district, in the company of her mother and a group of playmates.

The rescues
Upon receiving the alarm, an ambulance from the Croce Blu del Basso Sebino and the medical car from Sarnico intervened on the spot. For several minutes the 118 operators attempted to revive the child without success, transferring her in serious conditions with thehelicopter rescue to Pope John XXIII of Bergamo.
But little Ritej is died on the way to the hospitalaround 11pm, and unfortunately doctors could not do anything to save her life.

The little girl lived in the neighboring town of Credaro, together with her father Nabil, a warehouse worker, her mother Fatima, a housewife, two older brothers and a younger sister. In October she would have turned 7 and was supposed to start school. second grade.
