The fall has started on the American stock markets, it has not been like this since the beginning of September

Economic activity has stagnated in most parts of the US since early September – stated the Federal Reserve in the Bézs Könyv survey.

More than half of the Fed’s 12 districts reported “slight or modest” employment gains, while most districts said prices rose at a “slight or modest pace,” the report said. Several districts recorded slowing wage growth.

According to the report the US economy continues to sloweven though the official employment, consumer price and retail sales statistics held positive surprises in September.

In the Bézs Könyv, there were also about 15 references to the fact that the American elections in November cause uncertaintythis causes consumers and companies to postpone investment, hiring and purchasing decisions.
