The huge success of the original Marvel films is largely due to this charismatic actor, who of course played the role of Tony Stark, respectively the hero Iron Man.

Therefore, it was speculated that the beloved actor would return to the game, and that’s what happened in the end. But he returns in a slightly different role and literally changes his coat.

In the next Avengers, he will not represent Iron Man, but the villain Doctor Doom (Victor von Doom). The audience was ecstatic and it seems history repeats itself.

Robert Downey Jr. will appear in the role of Doctor Doom in 2026, more specifically in the title Avengers: Doomsday and a year later in another sequel with the subtitle Secret Wars. Fans of the original Marvel movies will certainly be pleased that they will be filmed by the Russo brothers (Anthony and Joe), who are signed to Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. After leaving Marvel, they are more or less just floundering and need a return to the limelight like salt.
