BNP Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu said that it is the responsibility of the current interim government to give a fair election to the nation. Conspiracy is going on with this election. Attempts are being made to destabilize the state.

He said, the faster the election, the faster the relief. Democracy will not be well established in the country until an elected government is established.

He said these things at a meeting organized at Airport Road Super Market in Manipuripara, Tejgaon, capital, on the agenda of a discussion meeting and leaflet distribution to raise public awareness on dengue prevention on Sunday afternoon.

He demanded to announce the road map for the elections soon and said that the BNP has been agitating for 17 years with the people of the country to restore democracy. Therefore, its benefits need to be conveyed to the nation as soon as possible.

Bulu said to the interim government, make a way for the people of the country to vote. We will form a national government with everyone under the leadership of Tarek Zia. At this time, he called for a more effective role in the medical treatment of those who were injured in the students’ movement against the fascist Awami League.

Saiful Alam Nirav, former central president of Jubo Dal and former convenor of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, spoke as the main speaker at the event presided over by the founder chairman of Mirza Foundation, Mirza Mazharul Islam.

At this time, Dhaka University’s professor of food and nutrition science department also gave a speech. Abduz Jaher, former Juba Dal Central Committee Religious Affairs Secretary Humayun Kabir Chowdhury and Mirza Foundation Senior Vice President Mohammad Abed Ali.

Speakers on the occasion urged the interim government to strengthen mosquito control activities to reduce dengue outbreak.
