Seoul Land is presenting a special early Christmas festival, ‘Christmas in October’.
‘Christmas in October’, which opened on October 1, decorates all parts of Seoul Land in a Christmas atmosphere to welcome visitors with the concept of ‘Christmas more welcoming and happy by encountering it at an unexpected time and place.’
In particular, ‘Holly’s Christmas Market’, which has established itself as the most popular photo zone, was created as a space filled with colorful trees and special gifts by reinterpreting the European Christmas market in the Seoul Land style. Visitors can enjoy the welcome Christmas mood by looking around the Christmas market, enjoying the Christmas atmosphere, or taking commemorative photos.
The 8m tall large Christmas tree located in the center creates a romantic Christmas atmosphere with colorful ornaments, lights, and artificial snow falling. The Christmas market surrounding the tree consists of a pop-up zone called ‘Merry Octobermas with Cramery’ where you can sell various Christmas props and gifts and enjoy craft beer and barbecue from Kramery Brewery.
The ‘Show King Santa’s Special Party – Wonderful Present’ performance, which tells the story of Santa and his elves struggling to make the best Christmas gift, also opened. Shocking Santa’s special party performance, which has been presented to visitors since the 12th, features characters symbolizing Christmas such as Rudolph, the Nutcracker, and the Gingerbread Man, performing colorful and exciting dances and songs. In addition, Santa and the elves that appear in the performance appear throughout Seoul Land, and provide surprise photo services and guerrilla performances, providing visitors with a lively and colorful Christmas festival atmosphere.
A Seoul Land official said, “As the Christmas season approaches in just over a month, we believe that the interest and popularity of Christmas festivals will continue in the future. “As Christmas marketing in distribution industries such as department stores begins, consumers’ needs for Christmas are expected to expand,” he said. “As Seoul Land’s early Christmas festival spreads word of mouth, many proof shots are posted on social media such as Instagram.” Visitors are showing a lot of interest, and visitors are encouraged to visit Seoul Land if they want to experience a unique Christmas atmosphere with white snow falling in the bright and cool autumn weather. “I hope,” he said.
