Belgrade band The Father of Serpents announces the release of his third album entitled „Last Embrace Lasts Forever“which represents the culmination of three years of dedicated work. The album was recorded in studio Waveand through it runs a strong emotional journey shaped by many personal experiences and challenges.
The album combines the dark tones of doom metal with goth rock elements and strong influences from bands such as Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Alcest and the like, the release states.
Unfortunately, during the recording of the album, the band lost its bassist Milan Suputwhich had a profound effect on the creation process and the sound atmosphere of the album. “Last Embrace Lasts Forever” is released on Milan’s birthday, as a touching tribute to his legacy and contribution to the band’s music. Through this album, the band wants to keep a positive memory of him, celebrating his creativity and contribution to the music they created together.
